Sometimes, I get tired of building close relationships with new people. Texting everyday, exchanging thoughts, feelings, and insecurities… Becoming good buds and sometimes even almost lovers. But then something happens and the walls come up again. We drift apart, and that one good friend becomes a stranger who I thought I knew. I don’t know… it’s always the same thing. After awhile, I wonder, why bother opening up to someone when they’re just going to leave?
